8 oz Baker’s Semi Sweet Chocolate (or other vegan chocolate)
1 TBSP coconut oil
Add both ingredients to a microwave safe bowl. Heat on high in 30 second intervals, stirring between cycles, until melty. Mine took three rounds, or 90 seconds.

where can i find coconut oil? Can it be found at Kroger, Meijers, Walmart? Where in the store should I look for it?
Sheridan,
Surprisingly enough, I recently saw coconut oil at Walmart. It was near the lard. Ha ha ha. It’s cheapter there than at Kroger (it’s in their natural food section). I think Walmart is just over $5 and Kroger was just over $7. It will be a solid white chunk, but warms up very quickly to a liquid. If you don’t want to use a pan (are you still avoiding the micowave?), I guess you can warm it up in a thin glass by holding it in your hand. Do a search for hand-warmed coconut oil. Of course, you can always find it at Whole Foods
I’m sure it’s a bit more expensive, but they probably have a couple different brands to choose from.
I really like the coconut oil because it makes the chocolate crispy like Magic Shell when it cools
