Apparently I’ve been craving chocolate lately. How do I know? I’ve been making chocolate treats left and right!

Chocolate Ice Cream
1 cup dates, pitted
2 tbsp raw cacao (could sub carob)
1/2 tbsp vanilla extract (optional)
1 tbsp water (adjust to desired thickness)
1 tsp cacao nibs
2 tbsp raw slivered almonds
Blend dates, cacao, vanilla and water until smooth. Stir in cacao nibs and 1 tbsp almonds. Top with remaining almonds and freeze until firm. Store in freezer.
Chocolate Banana Breakfast Smoothie
4 chilled bananas
1 heaping tbsp of raw cacao
1 heaping tbsp of roasted carob
1 tbsp alcohol free vanilla
1/4 cup nut butter and/or protein powder
1/4 c water
8 ice cubes
Add everything to a blender and blend until smooth.
